Kakani Day Tour which is more popularly known as Kakani Hiking is the wonderful adventure that allows rare oppoptunity of getting close with nature. The hiking route progresses through the oak and pine forest. Village in Kakani is popular for its picturesque strawberry farm and rainbow trout fish. Located 26 km to the north east of Kathmandu, Kakani is among one of the nearest viewpoints in Kathmandu which allows panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, Manasalu, Ganesh, Gaurishanker and many other mountains and peaks in Nepal.
We will leave for Kakani at 10am. It takes about one and a half hour drive from Kathmandu to reach Kakani. There will be enough time to rejoice the enthralling scenery and mountain views. We will cross the forested ridge and advance towards Budanilkantha. We will return to the hotel after exploring Budanilkantha Temple where we can see the colossal image of Lord Vishnu in reclining position sleeping peacefully on the bed of serpent coil on the pond.
