Day 01: Paro Arrival
Take Kathmandu to Paro flight and sail through one of the best air routes over high mountains and valleys. Lower down at Paro Airport and go through the custom formalities. From the Paro Airport, we will drive to hotel and stay overnight in Paro.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Thimpu
Drive from Paro to Thimpu. The new capital city of Bhutan is Thimpu. It lies in alluvial river valley. There are many cultural and historical sites in Thimpu. We will visit National Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery and Changangkha Temple on this day.

Day 03: Thimpu to Trongsa (200 km)
Cross the coniferous forests that stretches to the three districts. Stop for lunch at Chendebji which is the stupa that looks similar to those in Nepal. Continue walking from Chendebji to Trongsa and stay overnight in Trongsa.

Day 04: Trongsa to Bumthang via Trongsa Dzong (68 Km)
Take the early morning hike to Trongsa Dzong. Cross the pine forests and walk through vast expanse of meadows. We will get to visit Jambey Lhakhang where we can see the large idol of Shakyamuni Buddha. We will visit Tamshing Monastery and Jakar Dzong before reaching Bumthang.
 
Day 05: Bumthang to Wangdiphodrang
Journey on 5th day continues along Bumthang valley. Return to Trongsa and take lunch. Walk past the colorful rhododendron and other alpine forest to Wangdiphodrang which is the scenic settlements of friendly Bhutanese.

Day 06: Travel to Punakha and to Paro (125 km)
After taking breakfast, leave the spectacular Punakha valley. Enroute, visit Punakha Dzong which is located near themeeting point of two rivers. Take lunch at the site near Dzong and move through rustic villages to Paro.

Day 07: Explore Paro
This is the day for sightseeing in Paro. We will begin the exploration by visiting the ruin of Drukgyel Dzong from where wde can get close-up view of Chomolhari Mountain which is one of the highest mountains in Bhutan. Stop by the 7th century built Kyichu Lakhang. This site marks the advent of Buddhism in Bhutan. Visit the National Museum and return to Paro.

Day08: Departure from Paro
This is the last day of the package. You will be assisted in your last minute preparation and then transferred back to Paro Airport. You can take Paro Kathmandu flight and take other packages or depart for your next destination.
